When it come to type, as a designer we know it can be the make or break element to any piece. It adds life, personality and plethora of character. Each type face, jogging the viewers memories and conjuring up tailored emotions to tie into our creative intentions.

When a designer sits down and creates a piece that brings together type and imagery in a way that the following artists have it can be a magical union. Here are a few of my personal favorites. I hope you enjoy.

Who am I? Hrmmm. I guess I'm a guy who spends his days trying to find creative ways of looking at things. I currently run AERA Creative Inc, a design studio based out of Calgary, AB. Canada. I originally pursued a degree in Fine Art but quickly realized after graduating that a life making art wasn't as realistic as it may have seemed. So here I am. I design, I create and I look for inspiration on a daily basis.
